Biographical history
La famille Marchand est une famille pionnière d'Amos. Les premiers venus ont marqué l'histoire par l'exploitation de la scierie Massicotte & Marchand, propriété de Philippe Massicotte et Charles-Édouard Marchand. En 1919, la scierie est vendue à la Compagnie des Bois du Nord dont M. Marchand est président.
Robert Marchand, donateur du fonds, est le fils de Charles-Édouard Marchand.
